No worries fella, like you say you are new to posting on this forum. I'm sure you will get the hang of it.
Along with the link 'Just landed' has recommended in the post before mine, you may get a better response for ISA related questions over on the dedicated MSE - ISA & Tax-free Savings Board:

Thanks both for the heads-up.0

Hi, it's been nearly 2 years since I posted this thread. I came over as over-enthusiastic, or worse, a spam merchant. I apologised then and will do so again now.
However, I hope some people read between the lines and looked at this objectively and from your own perspective. What I hadn't appreciated at the time is that this 5 year fixed ISA allows further maximum contributions every year. So I have added to this twice since and will do so again in 14, 15 and 16, all of which will attract 4.35%. I can only assume that whoever put this offer together missed out the clause to disallow further additions because most, if not all, don't allow this.
Again, I hope hope some of you looked at this. If you did and didn't realise it then, yes, you can add your contribution each year to this account and still attract 4.35%. Just phone them up and they will confirm.

So I have added to this twice since and will do so again in 14, 15 and 16, all of which will attract 4.35%.
If that is the case and you are allowed to add to it till 2016 then well done you, thats an ok rate.
Majority of my ISA cash is @ 5% with BM Savings (they allowed transfers in & let me add 2011 Isa allowance when I opened it) but no more additions to it till April 2016 when it matures.I can only assume that whoever put this offer together missed out the clause to disallow further additions because most, if not all, don't allow this.
Now if only BM Savings had missed out that clause to disallow further additions too.Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -
4%+ - in my dreams:)
When will rates get back to a half decent level?Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
