Yeah it is an Independent Uni, for a Diploma Course, and I am a mature student.0

I've checked out the institute, and you will not be eligible for any student loans for there at all. They have no courses which are designated for funding.
If you cannot afford it, then I would suggest looking elsewhere to a public institute which will be funded.0 -

I think when Taiko said student loans she meant the entire student finance package - if you're not eligible for a maintanence and tuition fee loan you're not going to be eligible for the maintanence grant. You 'may' get a bursary from the university but you'd have to ask the university whether they have a bursary scheme.0 -
Okay , thanks for the help :T0

Indeed. Going by their website, it seems they offer them, but you'd still be paying high fees.
Oh, and it's a he.0 -
Have you thought about the Open univeristy? If your on a low income you get your fees paid and plus you may also be able to get a small grant . If your not entitled, the fees on most courses arnt that expensive-£600 for some, which you can pay bit by bit. But im sure if your on benefits youll get them free. Hope this helps0

Open University fees have gone up, unfortunately. I think a 60 point course is now £2500. However, I believe their degrees are eligible for student loans if you meet the criteria.0

Career Development Loan. Also try Access To Learning Fund. Also go and have a word with the university and just be honest and passionate - some of them are there to help and sometimes try for the students.0

I think Career Development Loans are only an option if this is a Vocational Course.
If it isn't, then OP wouldn't be eligible.SAVINGS: £63.86 // £3,0000
