I am a recent convert to Amazon grocery shopping through a few heads-up seen on here. Yesterday I ordered 24 bags of Arbella penne pasta for £12. At 50p for a 500 gram bag I consider that a bargain! (The fact that I have no idea where I am going to store it didn't even enter my head!!)"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

I have often thought of buying bulk to save money, but, how do you get free delivery? I have not got the super saver account with them. You live..You learn.:)0

Generally speaking most items coming directly from Amazon have free delivery, called Super Saver, any amount, to anywhere in europe (not to be confused with Amazon Prime that gives you free NEXT DAY delivery from Amazon).
Here's an example:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clipper-Fairtrade-Everyday-One-Teabags/dp/B004RJ84WG/ref=sr_1_8?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1328606486&sr=1-8
Orders from marketplace sellers (a bit like buy it now listings on ebay) often charge postage:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Twinings-Traditional-English-Breakfast-Aromatic/dp/B000I5U160/ref=sr_1_24?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1328606569&sr=1-24
When you search on the left you have several option, you can tick free delivery, which gives you items from amazon + sellers with free delivery, or once you have selected a department, choose a specific seller, e.g. amazon.co.uk only.0 -

Thanks for the tip,... found som 'Lumache' shaped pasta, 24bags for £9, 75p per Kg. Hopefully a more fun alternative to spirals and penne :-) - only 3 left now!0 -
I tend to check the grocery bestsellers regularly, and also the 'movers and shakers' which pick up on what other people have been buying. I also put in my basket and save for later things I often buy, then when you log on it tells you if the price of things in your basket have changed - ie very specific cat food and coffee.
By the time it appears on here/hotukd it has usually gone onto back order only!'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
I had a look at the M&S list, and I've seen something that was on hotukdeal, but then they increased the price.
I wonder if they are using special offers to manipulate sites like MSE and HUKD and get free publicity, once the link has been published they will increase the price but still get a huge number of hits through them, and some of those will still buy it.0 -

Always get a months supply of Gail cat food. Excellent delivery and I can always get it at a good price. Usually have to go from shop to shop to see where it's on offer so this is great.0
