Olliesmummy- what about if something arrives damaged and you need it replaced? Do you have to send it back and they refund you?

So far i have never had this happen and have bought quite a bit from them food wise over the past year, it has always come very well packed. Other items (i.e clothes/toys) I have bought have been refunded with no problems at all. I would imagine they would refund you, not sure if you would need to send the item back or not though-sorry not much help i know. If you are unsure you could possibly email them to ask what their policy is-I think they will be able to let you know without any bother.xx

    Thanks!
I have bought other stuff from them (clothes etc) without any probs, and the fact that you have bought stuff for ages and havent had any probs with it is a reassuring sign.

I've ordered jars of curry sauce from them a couple of times. On the first occasion the amount of packaging seemed way OTT, 6 jars in a cardboard tray sealed in plastic, inside a thick cardboard box packed out with paper, all inside a second cardboard box also packed out with paper.

On the second occasion there was less packaging and one of the jars had broken and a couple had loose lids. Given that it was Madras sauce it was VERY messy. Anyway full credit to Amazon, a quick call and they refunded my money straight away (no need to send anything back - which in the circumstances would have just been silly!).

I'm the same as Tigsteroonie, I bought cat food recently. I've just bought Cherrios 4 boxes for £4! Free delivery too.

  • I'm going to start checking there more, I've never really looked on Amazon for much at all, but from spending more time on here, I've seen a few people mention things they've got, I've just bought some Branston baked beans on there, 24 tins for £6, works out cheaper than value beans from Mr T's, they estimated the delivery date for the end of this month, so will see how it goes :)

I think the main thing is that youhave to have a lump sum of money to buy in bulk to start with, and also somewhere to store it. I have a tiny house, with hardly any storage, so am thinking about investing in a small garden shed type of thing. but not sure if washing powders/cat food woud keep OK in a garden shed?

Its great that some of you say its great value!

I keep all my bulk buys in the shed.

Tins on the floor and washing powder up on a shelf to avoid any mice chewing through the cardboard and reduce the risk of them getting damp on the floor.
