I believe that I am careful with my energy use and was wondering what other people pay for their energy.
Current supplier Powergen for gas and electric but in the process of switching to Scotish Power as predicted to save between £80 - £180.
I live in a 4 bed detached, insulated roof & walls, double glazed, condensing boiler. Currently pay £100 per month. How about you?
Current supplier Powergen for gas and electric but in the process of switching to Scotish Power as predicted to save between £80 - £180.

I have a 3 bed semi with good insulation (in the way of another houseful of junk that's in the loft!!) and a condensing boiler. Wife and smallest kid are at home all day, so the heating is constantly on at the moment, but our gas bill is £25 a month. Elec is £35 a month, but it is winter so the lights are all on and the cooker is elec.0

Every company charges the same price across the UK for gas(each company having a different price), but electricity prices vary by company and area of the UK.
Plus of course the climatic differences will have a considerable effect on heating bills.
Energywatch say that the average gas consumption is 20,500kWh pa and electricity 3,300kWh.0
