Wood Burner Building Regs

I am about to start installing a wood burner myself (Vermont Castings Intrepid 2). I have researched the building regs and everything will comply / exceed the stipulations. I am fitting a 7" 904/904 liner insulated with rockwool tubes, so the flue should be good.
From experience, can anyone say how much I should expect to pay to have the installation signed off by the local council or independent building control or HETAS?
Thank you.

I have posted to your question re fees in your other post.
Hetas fitters sign off their own work.
Rockwool insulation is great if your flue has no bends. Or has a large cross sectional area. Can be a pain otherwise. (although you could cut the lengths into smaller pieces which may help).
Good luck.If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you! :dance:0 -
and don't forget to fit it the right way up!0

Thanks for the replies. I did post the same question on another thread which I started, so sorry if this caused any problems.
The chimney is very wide (about 14" square) and has one lazy large radius bend. I hesitate to say that it shouldn't present any problems!0
