Anyone Had An Email Like This From Three?

Just wondering if anyone has had the following.
"Thank you for ordering a 3 mobile recently. Unfortunately, we regret that we are unable to proceed because your details did not meet our credit criteria.
If you have any queries about this decision, please call us on 08707 330 333"
Unbelievable! this was what i can't understand. The mobile contract was for my Mrs, who has just come to the end of her Vodafone contract.
The thing is i took out the offer online for her but it wouldnt process correctly her credit card details - i entered her details 4 times wrongly doh! anyway on the 5th occasion it went through ok. Three rang my Mrs up to query the 4 failed attempts yesterday, she explained what had happened and she was told that the 5th attempt was accepted ok and her mobile would be here today as prevouisly stated in an earlier email.
So i check my emails today and get the above email! Anyone know why??
P.s she would ring Three up but the customer services are shocking - 20 mins on hold the other day she waited and still she had to hang up!

Could be anything from the details being wrong still or she didn't pass the credit check, address blacklisted, problem with their systems when the order went through.

I really can't see what the problem is still. She only got off the phone to them at around 8pm last night and they assured her the phone would be delivered today.
Just think it's quite strange they never mentioned this to her last night, very poor first impressions of Three probably a lucky escape maybe!0
