south side of glasgow: cheapest broadband

hiya,
I see that pipex are offering good deals but you have to be tied into a BT phone line.I really don't want the hassle and expense of dealing with 2 companies.I'd be quite happy to simply have broadband, and forget about the landline?
Any suggestions of a decent provider who covers south side of glasgow?What I don't want is a provider with patchy service that earns a fortune with an expensive tech support line; for problems that they themselves have caused.I'm a Programmer, and I just want something tha's cheap and works.
