Lots of people talking about MFI pulling out of scheme but I received my clubcard deals booklet yesterday and MFI are still in it but as from 28th Feb you have to purchase at least £500 worth of stuff instead of £250 - or do you all know something I don't??????0

ACTUAL CASH SPENT £147.96
Rest paid for with deals vouchers ...
Tesco points are normally worth 1p per £1 shop
deals multiply the value by 4
so if you gained points by simply shopping - you would spend £1/4 million at Tesco to earn £10,000 worth of deals.
How did you do it really?
Home delivery using extra points codes?
We'd all love to hear your secret!0 -

Top up shopping using till splits etc.
4 cars in house only ever fill up at Tescos.
Self employed so use Tescos credit card for all purchases, personal and business.
Purchased books etc and used extra codes.
Purchased serveral ipod shuffles with 1000 extra points and then sold them on ebay.
1500 point code on wine maxed and maxed used wine for christmas presents to customers.
BIRDS EYE BEEF.
Took advantage of all internet sign ups carrying extra points, including internet phone, diets, powergen, savings account etc etc etc.
Tescos were very generous with their points last year, I think thats comming to an end.
THE BEST PERSON FOR COLLECTING POINTS IS PROBABLY WELSHY SEE HER POSTS SHES A REAL MASTER.

I know a few of you on here have mentioned you've been on the driving days, just wondering if they're any good? I would so love to do the rally drive at everymans driving, me and my OH would like to do it in the same day ideally, just wondering if anyones been on it (or other drives) and wether its worth it, should have enough with mays statement to pay for it then. Also in the past I've furnished my DD bedroom at MFI and ate about £80s worth of food at bella italia and been to legoland with last years vouchers. I buy my mums and MILs off them to use too, for days out this year I think!0

Hi Welshy - where do you lvie in Wales. I am looking to use my deals for a new bathroom in MFI (total cost around £2500), but was told could only use £500 in deals and the rest would need to be in cash. Looking from what you have posted there is no maximum limit - is that right? Also I have deals that I have bought from family/friends. Can I use these for MFI deals or can I only use the ones in my name? Also noticed that on the website it says deals cannot be used as a deposit, but others seem to have been able to do this - again what is correct?
Any advice you can give is greatly received.

Just in case Welshy does not get back to you. The way I understand it is that there is a minimum spend of £250 for you to be able to use deals tokens, this is due to rise shortly to £500, it is a minimum not a maximum. However there is a limit on the number of deals tokens accepted and that is 15. I have only ever managed to get denominations of £100.00. However some MFI staff are very helpful and will split order for you. Its the luck of the draw.

Not sure about the name specific thing. Mine just say my surname. You could chance it or change your name and make a couple of different orders.
At the end of the day MFI sales assistants seem to have no guidlines for these vouchers so it depends on who you get.
I always use the same SA and made sure he got a couple of bottles of wine (from Tescos) at christmas.
