A first aid kit that meets the specifications of the British Red Cross first aid kit for motorists, the Health & Safety Executive first aid kit for 1 to 10 persons and both of the St John Ambulance first aid kits for motorists.

A Kidde 1kg powder ABCE fire extinguisher

Five yellow reflective vests (IKEA, £3.99 each)

Warning triangle (Only 1, although I can see the potential need for one in each direction)

At least one spare bulb of each type on the car

And so many other bits of emergency equipment, that I really ought to respray the car dark green with a big "2" on the roof!

Shame I don't drive abroad.
