Sorry I know nothing about cars :o but I had a similar problem with my corsa. I thought it was a leak from new windscreen and took back to autoglass but they checked and said not windscreen. However the lovely man at autoglass phoned his mate who is a mechanic...he suggested it may be a leak on the BCM (Black box to right of battery) .. autoglass man checked and lo and behold there was a screw missing from the cover which he replaced for me ...it hasnt leaked since :j

I also read it could be the pollen filter... there are lots of corsa forums on the web which may help you

thanks ill check that out :T
  • Hi

I had a similar problem in my Ford Ka. The footwells were soaking and it had even spread to the rear seatwells and the boot! It turned out that the grill thing on the front (I'm so car savvy!) was completely blocked as was the drainage pipe. Got that cleared out and its been perfect ever since. Cost me £20! So glad I got it looked at, the car was really starting to honk!
  • Hi OP, as a windscreen fitter i have been out to two corsa's that we have done windscreens on. The customer thought screen was leaking, in both instances i removed the windscreen and it wasnt leaking, as i had time to kill i looked into this problem futher.

All it is was a small rubber seal round a fuse box. If you are ok with spanners what you need to do is remove wipers, 2 x 13mm nut, remove scuttle 3 x t20 torx ( bit fiddly to get scuttle off) reomve battery and disconect, on the right of battery as u look down from fron there is an electrical box with if i remeber 6 x t15 torx screws, once cover removed you will see a rubber seal in either cover or remaining in fuse box, this will be damaged (torn), this is the problem as water gets in here and runs through into back of glovebox and down onto passanger footwell ( you can remove glovebox 2 x t20 and you will see a channel with wires in it which will be wet. I am sure you can buy this seal but if not i would use silicone to make it water tight.

Please let me know if this is your problem as i definatly found it on a 54 plate corsa last time
