New Wheel for Eos
I need a new wheel for my VW Eos (56 reg). I popped into the dealership who quoted £600. Eek!
I am going to see if I can get the current wheel refurbished... but other than that, have you got any suggestions on how to get this cost down?
Thanks!!

What have you done to it, scraped or bent ?
You should be able to get it refurbed for £50-£80.
There are several on eBay new and used from around £125 c/w tyre, depends on wheel style, there seems to be a few. Have you tried a local scrappy ?Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.

Are they the same as Golf wheels? Find out the wheel style, size and you should be able to find one for well under £200.
Also try

Its bent... If only it was only scraped! Damn those Hertfordshire pot holes!Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

TBH OP, if it cant be repaired, then buy a set of nicer alloys off ebay with the same fitment for the EOS most nice sets come with rubber attached and fitment kits for £399 and above. compared to a dealer price youll save a few hundred.0 -
Considering how little OE wheels sell for on eBay (esp singles!) I'd probably not bother repairing it (if it's bent or cracked).Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0

Then let your insurer know - This can make a surprising difference to your premium.0 -

They also need the same offset, pcd and bore so they need to be specified to fit your model.
