Hello All,
Spending a weekend soon in Stockton on Tees with friends.
Can anyone recommend things to do with teenagers? Will drive up to 20 miles. Thanks

You could take them bowling or the cinema at Teesside Park and there is also white water rafting at the nearby barrage (though to sure at what time of year it opens). You could if willing to go just a little further, jump in the car and go through to Whitby. It takes about 45 minutes and is very quaint and does fantastic fish and chips.
Yarm is just 10 minutes away and has nice bars and restaurants.
Lots of walking in the area as the North York Moors are 15 minutes away in the car. There are fantastic mountain biking trails to found here.LBM August 2011. DFD somewhere post [STRIKE]2025[/STRIKE]2022

Don't worry, I thought someone might say something like that. It is a case of going where the friends are.
I thought someone might suggest firebombing, or boarding up firebombed houses......(I am allowed to say things like that, dh grew up in the area)0 -

Yes, the ice rink has just undergone refurbishment and the theatre is still open. Better to go up to Sunderland, 30 minutes away, for the theatre as it has the West End tours on. Upcoming is Blood Brothers, Chicago, south Pacific, Dirty Dancing and probably some I have forgotten:TLBM August 2011. DFD somewhere post [STRIKE]2025[/STRIKE]2022
