Next time that happens with any company, get on the phone, start quoting 'Distance Selling Regulations' Office of Fair Trading and Trading Standards and you'll get the refund of the initial postage you paid very quickly. Retailers rarely ignore those that shout about it :D I've never had a problem lol

I know this is a bit off topic but returned something bought via Amazon seller last week, received a refund for the item but not the original postage price, should I phone up and complain?
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

To the best of my knowledge businesses do not actually need to refund your return postage costs IF they have stated in their terms and conditions that it is the buyers responsibility to cover the cost of return postage. If they do not have this clearly stated anywhere then the buyer is entitled to a full refund of the postage cost. I "think" they also have to refund your return postage costs in full if the item is faulty too.

Did you return the item because it was faulty or because you didn't like it etc? the reason you returned dictates the outcome on the sellers (only applies to business sellers on the net, not private sellers, who do sell on Amazon, so was it was it a private seller or a business seller also?) responsibility by law to refund your original postage costs.

Craghoppers have added some extra lines to the 70% discounts

This is the ladies link but I'm sure there are more men's (didn't bother looking) and I think there are are a couple of kids things in Bear Grylls stuff (which I think is always very good quality)

I am still not 100% sure if they refund postage on returns, so just make sure that you DO want an item before purchasing, just in case you haven't had the bargain addiction therapy today. I have a fleece in my wardrobe that may never see the light of day as the postage costs would almost negate any refund. It GALLS me still ;)
Although I should have read suburbanwifey's post above I guess :).

Field and Trek have great deals on Craghoppers too, and offer 6% Quidco cash back. For example, they have the 3 in 1 Madigan ladies' jacket at £32, less than anywhere else I've seen, in khaki/Teal.

They also have what I guess may be previous season colour ways in the trousers, so they're a good price too.

Free delivery if you spend £60.

Oh gutted. The vision jacket with the coral trim is only half price not 70% off like the other two colours. Would have def bought one at £18 but don't need it so can't justify paying £37.

I bought my son some of the Bear Grylls stuff when it was in the Debenhams sale. It is really good quality but it VERY small. My son is ten but usually wears age 9 but he needed 11-12 in the Bear Grylls range.
  • Good point Macaud, they are small fitting. I bought my grandson 9-10 years to grow into for later this year and he is wearing them now! He was 6 in December but very tall.
    Shame about your jacket :(

I thought some prices were good, until they added nearly £5 P&P on it.

I think prices should included P&P, as you cant collect them..
