Network lock control key?

Hello i recently bought a Samsung Galaxy i9000 from ebay, i put my 02 chip in it and switched on, phone wanted my pin number for the chip, i entered this all well. Then on screen it showed a box with enter Network lock control key and underneath it said unlock dismiss i clicked on dismiss and can use the phone for internet etc but not for calls i get the message mobile network not available.
Anyone know how i go about getting the network lock control code? Thanks

It is not clear why you are able to use "internet etc", but your phone seems to be locked to some other network. If so, it needs unlocking to work on O2.

they can be unlocked ,but theirs 2,3 more network locks on the phone if the original network uses them ,
you would try a back street phone shop or online unlocking site (beware there are a lot off bad one ),or here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1055

type this to see what locks are on *#7465625# in the dialer
there or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff
