Can you be a bit more specific please? By "all bills paid" do you include grocery & petrol money or has that got to come out of the £1.60 a day? what doe steh £1.60 need to actually pay for?
We'll help, but we need to know a bit more first;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

She also has a friends birthday party so need present(what a socail life:rolleyes: )

HI
I think that you will manage particularly if groceries are paid for. Is that already as low as it can go or could you economise and have more Pin money.
It is a while since my kids where babies, but sensory room try bouncer in front of teletubbies and some fairy lights! Alos just watching you while playing will be fine. Baby massage do you need a class now or can you just follow on from what you have learnt.
Mother's day a card will prob. be fine. Friends birthday £5 pressie is usual fine in my circle as long as it is well thought out. MIL birthday could be bulked out with baby handprints - picture collage etc.0 -

OOOH I LOVE THAT IDEA, One for Daddy too.:j THANKS0 -
Try them in air hardening clay or paint, or both hand and foot print art. Mother and toddler group might be cheaper than sensory room and there is no better way for a baby to learn than watching toddlers.0

try your local freecycle for clothes
£10 a week is enough to get out and do a few things and look at things like going to the library where they often have free story times or going round your local museum where you'll get some stimulation and baby will be experiencing a new environment. Or invite friends round with their babies (or go to the park if it's fine) so that you're not going stir crazy.
As for pressies - home made things are often appreciated, especially by family.0 -
Some libraries have child sessions and lend out toys to try.
If you have a look at www.thebookpeople [hey have great books for children and adults and you can save a lot of money without having to order more books in the future.
I got a set of ten childrens books that should have been a fiver each - £50 - and only paid £9.99 for the lot!
Could you put anything on a credit card - just to juggle the dates of payment and then pay it off straightaway?"This site is addictive!"
