Moving house - best way to get BB installed (currently sky customer)

Hello everyone,
I currently have Sky TV (3 boxes), broadband and phone.
I'm moving into my first mortgaged house and currently have NO MONEY. However I need broadband.
What's the best way to get BB installed, but still keep it possible to get sky tv installed later?
1) Use sky moving home service but just cancel all TV and choose only broadband
2) Cancel all sky packages and go with someone else?
Thanks,
Gary

Also...
If I cancel all Sky packages, EXCEPT broadband, do you think they'd let me get TV installed later for free?
Or would I have to pay loads of money to get this done?Amo L'Italia0 -
Ok here goes...... but what I am saying is speak to Sky.
When I moved house back in 2010 I tried to cancel Sky as I was in between houses for a short period (6 weeks). I called Sky explained the situation they dropped me down to £8 a month for 6 months. I only had 1 box and all channels minus the movies nothing else, but sky want to keep your monthly DD, I did play on the moving house, going to have a mortage again so want to control monthly costs, they do seem willing to retain customers.....
When in the new house, I got free installation and a new HD plus box thingy, the installation wasn't required as it already had two feeds to living room, two to master bed and 1 to the other, but the engineer asked if I wanted anything moved etc so it was worthwhile having the option. I also asked about Broadband and phone, now BT claimed it would be £127 for a phone line install.... I knew one was already present as a dial tone was possible the day I moved into the house. Anyway I spoke to Sky and they basically said will have you up and running in 30 days for the Broadband phone should be sooner, monthly costs went up for my DD, and I had to pay £4.95 (P&P) for the BB router. All things considered and even though I tried to get out of paying a fiver for P&P I think the cut me a very healthy deal to secure my monthly DD payments.
Got a reduction in Jan this year free line rental for 12 months on the Sky phone line:-) So Phone them be nice (I'm sure you are) explain your personal circumstances, say things like very happy with what Sky currently provide but you need to reduce monthly cost due to house move, and see what they can do for you, I'm sure for example if you said you were considering dropping to one sky box they would work something out for you to keep another.... they will try and keep your custome even if it is reduced.0 -
Are you still in your minimum term for the existing services?
Does the new property have an active landline installed?
