Anyone else bored with their dissertation???

Well - I'm not bored with it exactly - more like suffering from research fatigue LOL.

It is an interesting topic - the effects of the internet on travel buying behaviour. But OMG - the amount of research - aaargh!!!!

I'm on the final leg as well - Just got half the final chapter and the conclusion to do and I'm to get it all done by next Friday. I just want to throw it all in the air and scream at it!!!!!!

Anyone else feel the same???

(This is sort of money saving - cos the more time I spend at my pc studying - the less time I'm out there shopping hahahahahahahha:rotfl: )

I handed mine in yesterday..the effect of historical metal mining on macroinvertebrate populations in a contemporary river system...
it feels sooooo good to have it done! I was so close to throwing the pc out the window and screaming at the weekend, but fortunately I didn't, and its all done.

One week left...you can do it!

wow, i wish mine was done, it doesnt have to be in til the 10th may, but i still have all my testing to do, its on "an investigation into the first meal of the day, antioxidant vitamins and oxidative stress" ... gotta make people eat a certain breakfast for 5 weeks and vary the vitamins they take, then see how it affects the body ... bit hard to find people to help me! ... maybe should have thought about it a little more before i start got my intro done, and all the forms people need to fill in, just gotta get the rooms booked and get people in!

Here (Chester) they are not due for a while yet. I've handed in the 3,000 draft hope to get feedback on that soon.

Mines practical as well so as well as a 6-8,000 word report I also have to create a website (using ASP.NET)

Mine isn't officially due in until April 17th but final draft hand in is March 9th. I just like to set myself very early deadlines . Anyway - I had my diss meeting today and gave him everything bar the conclusion.

Going to meet up with my tutor next week to discuss the conclusion and then that's it. I can concentrate on the rest of the work. I have to say that I thought my final chapter was a bit week though so I'm going to polish it a bit more this week and send it to him to add to the pile - LOL

yep, mines all done I'm at Aberystwyth, and all the departments have different hand-ins, I think the geography dept is the earliest, and I think some people have until the end of April to do theirs.
We had to do a draft hand-in before Xmas, and then had over Xmas and the few weeks after exams were over to make any changes / add extra in etc
Personally...although it does seem slightly unfair that other people get longer than me, its now done so I can concentrate on my semester 2 modules and exams.

Also depends on when you start...we were thinking about ours this time last year, feasability studies over Easter, refinements of plan in term 3, then fieldwork and lab work over summer...if we had until end of april, I'd be sooo sick of it!

Mines due in April 23rd but I am sooo bored of looking at it. The impact of the jurisdiction of the Council of the Marches of Wales on the English border counties c.1536-1641. Its a thriller, trust me. Actually writing it up wont be too bad but Im still reading and reading and reading and the sources are old English as well....:(

Actually looking at some yours mine seems to be pretty exciting now - no disrespect but......'old english'...Eeeeeeek!!! I can barely remember any English literature or history so I would be stumped even reading your title!!!

But them I adore all the stuff about technology and how it affects people that would normally bore other people to death - LOL

Maybe someone should do a dissertation on how students choose what to write their dissertations about - hahahahahahaha

I'm halfway through mine ... it's about the moral and ethical dimensions of Citizenship education. I'm not bored with it exactly but it's hard work getting the stuff that's in my head down on paper ... It's not due until May 17th though so I've got a while yet
