Thanks, that worked, and IE is now my default browser.
However the links in the emails still don't work. I can of course copy and paste as southernscouser has advised, but... oh well.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
what happens if you click on the links twice a second or two apart?
I have this on some websites, and it has happened in emails a couple of times

No they are totally dead. I have about 4 or 5 emails per day from the office, containing links to online reports. I just click on them the page opens and off I go. But I seem to have done something to the settings or... Oh I don't know what because as I said above I'm not very savvy, so I have no idea. I have to copy and paste them. -Did the problem start after doing anything particular ??
-Could you have accidentally changed any settings ??
-What email program are you using ??

To get hyperlinks links to work from OE.
Open Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Programs Tab, Reset Web Settings, and untick reset homepage then click OK.

Yes computer rebooted, and yes as I have said in my posts above I must have done something but I'm not computer savvy so I don't know what. O ise OE.

OE Is Outlook Express OS is Operating System IE is Internet Explorer FF is FireFox SP2 is Service Pack 2.

Your advice was useful, as I said in my reply post. With your help IE is now my default browser again, which is one of the things I wanted. Thanks again.
