    Good on you toot!
Even though you're putting my £400 to shame........I'll raise you (um actually I won't - Mr C would have a breakdown if I made him op any more!). I will gradually sneak it up, but don't tell!
It's good to be getting going again though.
We also have £2000 in premium bonds which will go to the mortgage but it's our joint emergency fund for now - and it's returned a heady 3% which is more than our 2.55%.
Can't wait for May 1st to get properly started.

:D2010 MFW Challenge No. 112 Mortgage paid in full 27/08/10 I was MF!!!:D
But now I'm not - (Joint) Mortgage £104704.
    New MFW target £5000 overpayments by 31/12/2105 £400/£5000 = 8%
    SAVINGS TARGET - £25000 by 31/12/2015 £13643/£25000 = 55%

Well, the first £400 is in the joint account ready to op on 1st May. I think if we have a Barclays account we can also op random other lump sums, so I plan to open one to facilitate this. Can't wait for May 1st!
