I would say no. I tried some double cream myself and it came out like a brick and I would think that the fruit salad would turn to mush because of the liquid content

you can whip the double cream and then freeze. I make a lot of blobs and open freeze and bag up to take out one at a time very useful for deserts or puddings also I have frozen a whipped pavlova shape to use later. make sure it is wrapped well good luck

I freeze left over double cream in ice cube trays, then put it into a bag and just take out lumps of it for cooking. You could also defrost it at room temp and give it a stir and it would probably be okay for pouring.

Aycor is right, you can freeze double cream if you whip it first. Fruit salad is probably too much water, although you could puree it for later use.

Send it here and we'll eat it for you - shame to waste it;)

I would say it depends on what is in your fruit salad - soft fruits don't freeze well so puree would be your best bet. Never tried freezing cream tho.
