CPW Online and Halifax !!!

Trying to buy a phone online and it's not accepting my Halifax bank Details.

Keeps on coming up with "Bank Name Not recognised""

Any ideas anyone???

I've tried Halifax, HBOS, Halifax Plc, Halifax Building Society and then i maxed out.

Any suggestions?

have u bought 2 phones from e2save/carphone warehouse which are still in contract.....if it is, that's why....i think. i had the same problem....

I've faced the same problems over the last couple of weeks. As have some other people posting on here. Seen it mentioned on another forum as well. Apparently people have had probs with Halifax and Alliance and Leicester. Not seen an explanation or solution though, sorry.

I have also had the prob that should it ever get past that screen and the direct debit details page not be returned to, then screen just goes white. I am wondering if the white screen is a quidco related problem.

Does your account number start 000? if so Its a glitch.. call them they can override it

yes it does but upon calling them they wanted me to finish the process over the phone - which means NO Quidco...

I think i'll just use a different account
