Samsung Smart TV Xmas promotion Blinkbox

I bought a Samsung smart TV before xmas which came with a £50 voucher for online films from either Blinkbox or Acetrax. There are compatibility problems with Blinkbox on Samsung TV's which I discovered after e-mailing Blinkbox as I was unable to watch films. When I complained to Samsung that they shouldn't have offered this company as part of the promotion knowing there were problems, they denied all knowledge until I sent them the e-mail from BlinkBox. Even now they refuse to acknowledge that its affecting more than just me, even tohugh there's a whole forum on the Blinkbox website regarding this issue. I've been constsantly chasing Samsung for 4 weeks with e-mails going unanswered and ongoing phone calls. I've still not been able to get my promo vouchers moved to another provider and they refuse any offer of compensation for my time and cost in phoning them. I have made 10 phone calls and spent over 90 minutes on the phone on an 0845 number to solve their problems. Don't bother with Samsung they can't be bothered to ensure the apps they supply with their products are robust and their customer service is a joke.

If anyone has had similiar issues could you post here I'm trying resolve my ongoing issues and the more people who shout the more chance we may have of making them move quicker. I've discovered a forum where people are also discussing.

I got this offer from Samsung and tried watching one of their free films earlier in the year but kept having problems.
I finally tried to watch a Blinkbox film again, buying one this time with my credit from Samsung, but it proved impossible to watch.
Could get the buffering and then connection lost message at any point, managed to get about 3 minutes in at best.
Did you get a resolution to this problem from Samsung?
It seems like the link you posted is no longer active on the Blinkbox site.

avforums.com almost definitely has a forum for your specific model of TV, or range of TVs, and if I know that crowd, they'll be jumping up and down about an issue like this, or will have some sort of workaround! If it's streaming video, are you sure you've got a fast enough net connection? You can't hold Samsung responsible for that. If an advertised feature doesn't work, they would need to be making some sort of goodwill gesture...0
