Thank you. I thought I was going mad for a minute there. That tariff is the northern region. Have you thought about switching to a standard tariff? You could get all your units at 10.25p/kWh with a 22p daily standing charge. EDF fix to March 2013 tariff northern region.

    375 @ 7.03p is £26.36
    358 @ 14.11p is £50.51
    60 days @ 26.43p is £15.86
    Total £92.73

    Or....

    733 @ 10.25p is £75.13
    60 days @ 22p is £13.20
    Total £88.33

    Plus VAT and less discounts....

You would save £4.40 on the pre VAT/discount rate over those 2 months and have no restrictions on when you can use electricity.

I have never found an E10 rate that makes using E10 actually worth using.

Thanks for the info , my current tariff is with SSE in North Yorkshire and I am on one of those Electromax wet system setups with it doing all my heating and electricity , as there is no gas in the village

Well the owner has taken the solar "route" on his own property (just behind me) , he has opted for ground source on 3 other properties , and that leaves me and my neighbour on E10 on his 2 remaining properties.

So a bit of a mix
