Liverpool airport - smoking?

Can anyone tell me please if smoking is allowed anywhere ( possibly in a bar?) at Liverpool airport?

I seem to recall the bar in departures being a smoking area - last august it was anyway!

Indeed I did. Anyone who wants to stop smoking, take this tip - stop for a full day and then have a nice chat with someone who smokes. Yuck!!!!!!!!

Don't think the OP wants to mix with non-smokers, presumably why he asked the question in the first place.

If you check out the airport web site, it says they have pubs with '' no smoking areas'' so presumably this means that they also have smoking areas!
Also some of the comments above are nothing short of downright rude, and it would be helpfull if some posters would keep their personal opinions to themselves, because most of us are not interested in reading them!

Will the Non Smokers just Butt out! WE have to inhale car fumes all the time!!!!

Anyway unfortunately, Liverpool Airport is now totally non smoking. I have travelled through it recently.
