    Right sorted!! Bought an 027 Varta 12V 60Ah for just over £60 inc p&p (not too bad really) and will hopefully fit it by the end of the week I have printed off a load of forum advice on how to fit the battery so I don't go and do something I shouldn't!! Thanks for all your help everyone, I will let you know how it goes!!

    Any advice on fitting the battery to add to my little file? :-)

    Nothing I haven't mentioned above..... It'd be a good idea to take the car for a run on the new battery, as I doubt it will arrive 100% charged.
