We have a black hole in our house - I now no longer look for anything for more than a few minutes as I would spend the whole day searching and not finding it. My motto is it turns up some time - now where did i leave the kids...... Doesnt always work tho hubby lost his driving licence a few years back and credit card last year - both definately were in the house but they have never ever turned up.
I lost my car keys early December turned the kitchen, lounge and hall upside down and still couldnt find them. When I eventually got to the bottom of the backlog of ironing on the spare bed there they were (some month or so after - luckily we had a spare set).0 -
Managed to get on live chat to be told they are having major problems with login details. Advised to try again later after clearing cookies etc.
Thanks, same here, login failing from all devices. Just aswell I don't need to bid on anything, but sellers will be really upset if their listings are ending tonight!0 -
Ah I'm glad its not just me (ok, glad is not the word, relieved maybe) as I have been in a total panic that my account had been hacked or suspended

I feel sorry for all those with listings ending this eve, especially items that usually get a bidding war at the end.

I had the same problem last night couldn't log in as it was saying both user name and password was wrong

This morning I have managed to reset my password woohoo so back in to my account.
And got some bids last night so it must have been the chosen few that had problems

Same here, though I didn't have to make any password changes - their password servers must have failed so there was nothing actually wrong with the passwords.0 -
We have a black hole as well! I borrowed OH's pliers from his tool box to take out my lip ring (dont ask, its just easier with pliers!). I know I left them on my dressing table but now they have vanished

OH not happy as they are the only set and he needs them. Whoops

Yeah, that was my thought aswell. I even tried calling 'em but they were already shut.My paypal account was hacked before Christmas and Ipods and phones paid for using my bank account and the paypal balance it has made me a bit paranoid.:(

Soolin, sorry, had a bit of a chuckle there but it wasn't at your expense, it was just an 'I know exactly what you mean' moment.
I did the same thing last week, glibly went to my ebay 'box' to wrap item - gone! It was something I had been relisting since before Christmas and I was positive I hadn't sold it but went all through my feedback just to make sure. Nope. I also knew that I had given away some of my unsold stuff to a charity shop and had a really hot and cold moment where I tried to remember what I had parted with.
I was also doing that tearing the house apart thing, muttering to my Husband "I can't find it!" while he just said "oh dear" and carried on watching telly. Funny isn't it? If they lose something we have to drop what we are doing immediately and help look!
Finally found the thing in a totally different box altogether, no idea how it had got there. I had already been to the post office with more urgent stuff and had to make a special trip.
'im indoors said "well, you obviously need to be more tidy" and yes, he still lives!!!!!0
