gremlins strike again

On the last free listing day I listed a few bits and pieces on my private account and have sold or am selling most of them (hurrah!)

However one item sold and I can't find it, which is ridiculous. None of this is large or bulky, I stored it all in a box after photographing it- I have had that box out now 3 times and it hasn't magically re appeared. I've checked all through my business stuff as well in case I somehow in a dream picked it out of the box and catalogued it and stored it along with my business stock.

What isn't helping as I run about mainiacally throwing open cupboards and drawers is my OH calmly telling me it's OK, just leave it another day look again and then just tell buyer you can't fidn it. He keeps reminding me it is only ebay and he is sure buyer won't mind a bit - arghhhhh

The scissors I lost last year, the expensive ones never did turn up so I obviously have a black hole or somethign here in the house.

Panic over- found it in my stock of stationery items.

Hmm, I can only assume that I somehow gathered it up and boxed it when my new bags and jiffy's arrived last week, how strange

I've been looking for something that I've had listed for ages that wouldn't sell, finally managed to shift it couldn't find it anywhere, then I realised that I'd sold it about 3 months ago.

I used to have someone working for me who seemed to move everything all the time and I could never find it if he wasn't around, 2 years after he left I'm still blaming him when I can't find something.

I have gremlins as well however mine are in the form of OH & 2 children however it's generally 'Mr Nobody' that has moved/taken/done things!

Im like that when fixing stuff, Im sitting down i have not moved so where is the screwdriver bit i just used?

I had the same problem this week, no idea where the item has gone. Wrote to the buyer and offered him an alternative and sat back and waiting for the moaning email.

He wrote back thanking me and saying he would happily accept the alternative. (Think we need a phew smilie)

the gremlins seem to have got into my ebay now, there is no record of anything I have sold!!
My listings are ending as we speak, and as they end the disappear, so I am unable to send invoices.
All I have is a little box saying unknown error in red ink.
Hope it gets sorted soon!:mad:

I'm having problems logging into eBay, tells me my password is wrong - let me change it, still cant log in

Currently in a queue for the live chat help , 10 mins ago it said the wait was 25 mins, its now 40 mins - I think there are some serious eBay gremlins about tonight!

I've got the same, can't see anything I've sold in myebay at the moment, just an error message.

Managed to get on live chat to be told they are having major problems with login details. Advised to try again later after clearing cookies etc.
