i can unlock the k750i via cable. i do it for £5 however when i unlock 1 it supplys about 5 codes which also work when you put them into the phone. i only get the codes as the phone is unlocking next time i unlock 1 i will post the 5 codes

Utter nonsense, Davinci server can do it, so can Universal Box (for about £17), so can SETool. Both Davinci and Universal box, i believe use the EMMA3 card with a CSCA key, whereas SETool (apperently) uses a standalone solution.

Current EMMA access levels exists:
Service Update - Can't unlock phones.
Service Update Pro - Can't unlock phones.
Network Operator - Can't unlock phones (but sure as hell can lock them ).
Service Center Std - Can't unlock phones.
Service Center Rc - Can unlock phones, as they have a special version of the smartcard with a CSCA key

and guess what? all them teams have one hence that is how they unlock them through there server.

no, setool is not standard alone it uses the same card emma 3 level 5 but the_laser does has a flash patch unlock but its not used and probably never will

i have all the above tools thanks, and have unlocked more than a 1000 db2020 with them.

please, don't tell me everything about phones until you repair/unlock/flash more than 500 phones a week so have a little knowledge on what you talk about, ah and most require more than BGA chips changing.

there are too many people on here now who think using a nokia calculator makes them an unlocker but no nothing about phones.

You are wrong, your client only needs EMMA card, you need only an internet connection and a cable. See aforementioned DaVinci Team.

Agreed, however there is no "magic smartcards" just CSCA key activation which can only be done by Sony Ericsson themselves, furthermore, this is a limited activation and requires resetting after between 200 and 350 usages. Emma cards can only have two keys active at any one time, in this case it would need to be CSCA and the A00 UTMS service key in order to customise the phone after flashing

Really? where do you live, millionaires row? Everyone where you are has a DB2020 Sony Ericsson phone and has lots of money for you to unlock it do they?

Perhaps you shouldn't be so quick to make assumptions about others, you made a statement and either it could easily have been misread or you were wrong, simple as that.

By the way, if you'd like to know a little about injecting the CS loader using brute force or ARM9 programming let me know. Being able to connect the odd testpoint whether you unlock 10 phones or 1000 phones a week, doesn't mean you're always right

Thats not software in the traditional sense then, its server based, which connects to hardware.
