Hi,
I have got a decent head torch that I use every night to walk the dog.
It takes 3 AAA batteries which do run down rapidly on high beam.
My problem is that my battery charger only charges 2 or 4 batteries at any one time.
That means I have to keep charging up 4 batteries and then discarding one on every occasion.
Does anyone know of a battery charger that will charge 3 AAA batteries please?
Best wishes

I bought this for around £10ish a while ago. Good charger, fairly quick, can charge any number of batteries and has indicators for each.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”

Why not get another 2 batteries then you have 2 sets of 3?0

Oh, c'mon, it can't be THAT difficult to rotate them.....
Mark them 1 thru 4, first time charge 1-3 and leave 4 out
Next time leave 1 out - then 2 - then 3 - then back to 4.

I've had one of these for a few years http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fast-Battery-Charger-AAA-Travel/dp/B002C7ZL3U/ref=sr_1_44?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1328042512&sr=1-44 - don't think I bought it from Amazon, so may not be the cheapest.0

Why not get a wind up head torch?
I borrowed one of my brother in law and it's great. Winding it for a minute or so gives 20 minutes of light.
Do away with the batteries all together. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
i like the look of this one, would be useful to be able to charge via the pc aswell as in the car.

as for the windup idea, i had one, cost me £5 when i bought it, 3 led lights, can either have 1 led or all 3, think 1 of the leds went bad cause it only works if i knock/tap it against my hand, and its not as bright as a 3 AAA 9 led light. But you dont want the charger that i use which can do upto 4 batteries at a time, its called Battery Genie cost £30 at the time of purchase from comets, not only recharges Ni-mh but also non-rechargbles aswell. and before you ask, yes i've tried it with the 24 pack batteries you can get for a £1. and yes it will recharge them, but i only tried on 4 of them, recharged upto 8times to. best non rechargables where rayovac Alkaline batteries 24 AA for £5 i got up B&Q, before Nimh became cheaper, when Ni-cad where the norm.0
