I need to find a new liquid foundation. Sometimes I just don't wanna wear minerals, I want to look dewy!
I don't get on with Chanel colours, don't like Laura Mercier, MAC and Estee break me out, never had a good high street one. Can anyone help me pleeeease?
A light foundation for someone with very pale, sensitive skin that doesn't like being suffocated. I'm thinking maybe trying something natural or No Foundation Foundation?

i have the Dior Diorskin Nude one in 010 and i'm very pale (Bare Minerals fair (just!) and MAC NC15). its pricey, i think mine was £26 a bottle, but if you use 1 or 2 pumps and use your fingers to apply it and blend it in it genuinely looks like my skin only awesome. its really light when its on too. try and steal a sample off the counter and try at home, the first time i tried it in store it got caked on me! i think its also now one of the longest serving items in my stash and i do use it regularly.

on her website, lisa eldridge has been raving about the new bourjois ones with serums in for months if you don't want to spend a lot.
  • Yay

Phew, have now caught up with all the posts and am now fully up to date. I dream of the day when my total stash list will fit on one post!!! I am having to be sooooo strong not to buy the LE - have put £5 in my SPC (Scrappie - hope you have too) and keep telling myself I don't need it...

I have my first Feb UUs to report:
Gatineau defilift 3d lip treatment - WBA and already have - see below:o

Elizabeth Arden deep cleansing mask - this was ages old and I have now finally used it - WNBA -don't really need this for my skin type.

Decleor vitaroma lift total moisturiser - this was v nice but I think has now been replaced with experience de l'age - would like to try the e de l'a but not at the moment until more stash has been UU.

    Now, for the INs:

    Emma Hardie
(I did own up to having ordered this last month so have served my time on the naughty step):
    Moringa cleansing balm
    Rosehip exfoliating seeds
    Eye serum
    Professional moisturising cream

And, oh dear, I had forgotten that I had ordered the last Gatineau tsv on waitlist so was surprised when a parcel tuned up for me containing:

    Gatineau
Age benefit ultra regenerating night elixir
    Defilift 3D volumising lip care
    Age benefit dry skin cream
Melatogenine futur plus anti wrinkle radiance mask
    Anti aging gommage for face

    Off to write 50 lines:
I do not need the LE
I do not need the LE......

Be strong Kiplingmonkey that LE TSV isn't so great. It's gonna be tough month for QVC TSV's. Have you seen the TV Guide. There's Judith Williams on 7 Feb (caught a bit of one of her shows recently and there was a serum that looked like a good replacement for my Elemis Neck and Bust Cream!), Clarisonic on 10 Feb, Nails inc on 14 Feb (my birthday - yay) (thankfully I don't really rate this brand so won't be enticed), Decleor on 26 Feb and Laura Geller on 29 Feb (this is one is going to be hard for me to resist). Now instead of thinking of all those lovely products you could buy you could think of it as £30.00 saved in your pot.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have an IN - a much needed IN actually

Batiste dry shampoo (for brunettes), it was on offer at superdrugs for £1.45 and I ran out of mine last month.

    AND....

    2 more UU's:
Aveda dry remedy conditioner - WBA - It made my hair feel SO great! I'm in love
Dove body wash - I don't know if I WBA? it was very nice, but it's one of those items that would be my fall back purchase (hope that makes sense)...I think it's ok and it didn't dry out my skin.

Ins 6 x Suddenly perfume from Lidl as its on offer this weekend for £1.99 and its ideal for work.

Yes, I know you are right - the one that will be red alert for me is the Laura Geller - I have seen a hint that it will be this

    http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.A219938.desc.Laura-Geller-AllStars-5piece-Color-Collection

and I am a total sucker for anything that comes with a bag . The others I will probably be ok - the JW will be interesting as I haven't tried anything by her and my friend raves about the serum but I must be strong. Just going to avoid the tv today so I don't crumble. Nails Inc I am not too fussed about and I prefer Elemis to Decleor so I will hopefully be safe (apart from the LG). When I joined the challenge I did say that I would restrict myself to 1 tsv a month so if I can holdout to end Feb I might be able to award myself a little treat in a bag!

hope you are all keeping warm and ready for the snow:rotfl:

DH thought it was funny to lock me out when I was outside breaking the ice on the pond so the birds could have a drink:mad:
started using the clarins santal oil and my skin feels lovely :)very smooth and not at all dry, thye say use at night but as I am home all day have put it on this am as well(it is not at all greasy)
suffering with hairy legs as I want to get them waxed before I go on hols(can't wait to feel warm!)and thought I'd get a luxury pedicure at the same time as a treat but not sure what colour to go for for 10 days.
