Francis Wain Leap Year Diamond competition Terms and Conditions
This competition is free to enter.
Entrants must be over 18 years of age. Only one entry per person. Francis Wain employees, their immediate families, agents and anyone professionally associated with this competition may not enter.
The closing date is 23.59 hrs on 13 February 2012.

Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted.
No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission or Postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
The winner will be the person whose idea for a leap year marriage proposal is considered to be the most creative and interesting by judges from Francis Wain.
The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner will be notified by email and / or phone on Wednesday 15 February 2012.
The winner must be available to make their proposal on Wednesday 29 February 2012.
The winner must agree to be available for interviews and photographs by Francis Wain and the media, and to agree for their image and quotes to be used by Francis Wain for publicity and marketing purposes.
The prize is a 0.40 carat brilliant cut diamond. There is no cash or jewel alternative. Design consultation and drawings of the personalised ring setting is free. Francis Wain Jewellers is not liable for cost, including VAT of materials and labour used to make the finished product.
Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Francis Wain and, accordingly, Francis Wain may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the competition and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Francis Wain as a result thereof.0 -

As much as I hate being the bearer of bad news, but the jewellers that are running this comp. were the subject of an armed robbery today. Thieves stole all of the window display jewellery. This comp. could well be the last thing on their mind.
