Timothy,
Please don't be offended but I don't believe that yr post is sufficently correct in that you would put yr life on it. I have evidence of software that doesn't work on win7 eg Scansoft's webcapture program for one, as well as Office 2k as mentioned above. 3rd party developers didn't go out of their way to make their stuff incompatible with "future software", its just they don't believe upgrades are either cost effective or compatible with current strategy.0 -
I really did not think this would cause such a stir. I do not want to give too much detail about the software other than the company has a technical dept. and have insisted that it won't run on 64bit. Just following their advice. I have enough advice to make a decision now. Many thanks to you all.0

Sorry tom, not being rude , trying to watch Superbowl and this forum and your mistake made me smile http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrician especially the pc world part- Patrician (ancient Rome), the original aristocratic families of Ancient Rome, and a synonym for "aristocratic" in modern English usage
- Patrician (post-Roman Europe), the governing elites of cities in parts of medieval and Early Modern Europe
