    The start time was 6.45...

    :rotfl:
The start time was published as 6.45pm. I arrived at 6.30pm to be greeted by red carpet footage and SBC being interviewed. It was nearly 7.30pm before the movie itself started after an introduction by the man himself.

Not a complaint - just a statement of historical fact.

I know that the start time for The Dictator was 6.45pm at all venues. Insulting someone just because you don't like the facts is rather pathetic.

You should also perhaps learn to be a little more appreciative of FREE tickets - complaining about having to wait 40 minutes for something you haven't even had to pay for is most unbecoming and unbelievably ungrateful.

Where you at Bristol Cribbs, yes or no?

No, why? Should I have been??

But I know the start time there was 6.45pm, as it was at all venues.

    You're in Cardiff aren't you ?

So you have both VUE and CINEWORLD don't you ?

Just wondered if you were aware that Cineworld ALSO have BARGAIN TUESDAYS

Currently JUST £4.90 (ALL DAY I think) for a standard film that would be £7.20 or even £8.40 depending upon the day of the week and before or after 5pm start time

Better still join mycineworld and you can save a further 10% - so Tuesday's tickets are just £4.41

One last thing - depending how often you you want to go to the cinema - what about a Cineworld UNLIMITED pass - just £14.99 (£17.99 for London West End) for a month and you can go as often as you want :j :D

OK you still have to pay an extra £1.50 for 3D movies (and 80p for the glasses but you can keep them and reuse as often as you want) ....

... FUTHERMORE ... you can use this card on a WEDNESDAY ... together with ORANGE ...

.. and for just 35p you can take a 2nd person

This must be a local thing - Nottingham Cineworld don't do it sadly, although they do the 10% discount for online booking, and it's about time all the chains followed that example.

I still try to use my favourite classic independent cinema (The Savoy) whenever possible, which is only £4.95 any time.

    Typical...practically everywhere EXCEPT Nottingham!

I do like the sound of 3D uplift though - I could do with some extra support...
