Just come back from a screening in the proper North and a lot further North than you.

Has anyone else seen SAFE? If not you haven't missed much, the violence is excesssive and far beyond what was needed. How it got a 15 certificate is beyond me and the only good thing is I didn't actually pay.

I had tickets to see safe @ Portsmouth (Gunwharf) Vue. When I arrived I was asked if I was aware of the new arrangements? Obviously I wasn't! I was then told they were unable to show the film as they hadnt been send the "code" (maybe it was in THE SAFE? LOL) So they were showing 21 Jump Street Instead (which was actually hillarious!)

Did anyone here go & were you notified in advance of the "new arrangements"? The man at the cinema seemed to think the pre screening would still go ahead - but i'm not so sure as its out very soon as far as i'm aware. Maybe I could email see film first and ask.

What fantastic news that showfilmfirst now have ways to combat the problem of tickets being faked/forged/photoshopped.

The last one I got (The Raid) had a QR code on the e-mail that could be scanned by a mobile, but I doubt that is a security thing. When I scanned it on my phone, it just took me to the film's website.

hey guys, i usually judt go to the sky/virgin previes, butwas unable to attend the 'safe' on tuesday, but another code has been released....from the Sun.

Now do i need a copy of the newspaper page? if so which issue?
As i cant see anywhere on the e-mail that it says to bring it?

Normally you dont need a copy unless the SFF wesbite or Sun paper says you do
