It's silly beggars played by the most prevalent posters. I've noticed they don't 'thank' for posts, I think it's some sort of OCD or insecurity thing
The SELFLESS take the time and effort to find codes etc and share.
The SELFISH take those codes, repost here as their own effort so they people will hit the thanks button.
The actions of the selfish mean the codes are often posted here a long time after the tickets have been claimed. So those who miss out know who to blame.
geordie_ben has had plenty of time to state where he "found" the code in question but hasn't.

Isn't it obvious?
It can be proved beyond any shadow of doubt that he copied it verbatim from a post on FMUK and his silence is proof that he knows he's been caught out, yet again.
Its because of his actions that codes appear very late here with all tickets gone.
Now if he was a nice person he would credit the source, he doesn't. He has to be reminded and even then he still doesn't bother.
Its been quite some time since I've posted a code on MSE and that's down to people like GB who just want the thanks score.
Erm, no, it really *isn't* obvious to anyone not involved in site politics. Because I'd never heard of FMUK until you just linked to it, and guess I still don't really understand it's not okay to post links that come from there, or why it's so important for people to 'credit the source'. And I still don't understand why something, apparently, was a 'trap'.
I only asked because I thought you might mean the links were a 'trap' for people who click on them, i.e. a phishing scam, or a way for the ticket sites to work out who is getting links from MSE so they could ban them, or... some other kind of 'trap' that might affect me. But I guess it's not any of these? Or if it is I suppose I'll never know.
But all this stuff is obviously too complicated and difficult to explain to the uninitiated, so I guess I'll go back to not worrying about it!0 -

Is it really that difficult to understand basic good manners?
Sharing is fine but passing them off as your find is not.
The reason you haven't heard of any other free sites, is patently obvious. It's because they are not credited.0 -

I also panicked at the 'trap' message, and got my head bitten off in the past for asking a question because I didn't understand the mechanics of the website perfectly.
I recommend leaving the "elite" to their hierarchical battles and we can stay down here in ignorance and bliss.0 -

Orange Wednesday launched over a decade ago and at its peak was a massive success and an iconic promotion. After 10 great years our brand has changed and our customers’ viewing habits have also evolved so it’s time to move on.
That’s why the final credits will roll for Orange Wednesdays at the end of February 2015. We’re working on new customer entertainment rewards and we’ll provide more detail soon.0 -
