I was just wondering why someone has posted on the free tickets board for Tinkerbell when there are no tickets available as stipulated in their post. I got all excited thinking maybe some more had become available but NO!
It is a pointless alert or am I missing something?0 -

It's a new code isn't it? It's worth keeping an eye on the links as more tickets are released regularly and people cancel them.0 -

Yeah, it's definitely worth checking regularly! I've checked at 5pm and got tickets for that evening!0 -
I posted it as it was emailed to me by SFF and quite often they release more tickets, so keep checking the code0

I just received an email from ShowFilmsFirst inviting me to subscribe to their new priority system
Priority Subscribers will get notified ahead of regular subscribers
It's already hard enough to get free tickets as a normal subscriber. If priority subscribers get first choice then the chances of a regular subscriber getting any would be considerably less.
What's worse is you have to sign up for 5 years, at least that's how I interpreted it
I almost agreed to their £17.99 fee but noticed a remark on the Paypal invoice that I would be signing up for 5 consecutive yearly payments so it would mean 5 x £17.99
No way will I agree to that
There's no garantee that one would get tickets as its still first come first served
I see that as a bit of a blow for free cinema tickets as other companies may follow suit
I'm a member of my local independent cinema and as a concessionary member I pay little over a fiver a film anyway and I get 4 or 5 free tickets a year under their loyalty scheme so I'm sticking to that instead of costly freebie offers

EAS (Early Alerts Service) is an early alert (email) to films and events available to you.
If you join, we guarantee that you will get at least one pair of tickets a year (probably many more!), and if you don't, we'll refund your money in full. Additionally, you will be included on our SHOWS and EVENTS early mailing list.
Early Alerts Membership is £17.99 per annum and joining is subject to agreeing to Terms & Conditions.
What will I be offered tickets to?
For some films, events or shows we have a brief to show to as wide an audience as possible.
For others, there may be a specific audience that we're asked to invite so it's important that you keep your details and preferences up to date to ensure that you get invited to as many events as available.
ShowFilmFirst generally is for those people with a wide interest in film and entertainment. If you sign up, you will receive alerts as soon as there is something available in your area.
We don't recommend that you subscribe to ShowFilmFirst EAS Membership if you are interested in only one particular genre, as we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate something this specific. For example, if your favourite films are Saw III and Terminator 2 you are unlikely to be targeted for Beverly Hills Chihuahua!
For more details see the FAQ.
Membership is subject to acceptance. It is imperative that you read the Terms & Conditions carefully, especially with regard to tickets being non-transferable, respecting confidentiality, and adhering to any conditions specified by event and box office staff.
A ShowFilmFirst EAS Membership can be purchased using PayPal (you don’t need a PayPal account, you can pay by credit card via PayPal) and your membership status will be upgraded immediately.

It's looking more and more likely that we won't get tickets at all unless we are members of Sun/Times+ or other paid subscriptions judging from recent posts, so it would probably be a waste of money anyway.0 -
This is nothing new. SFF introduced this quite some time ago. The only people who could possibly benefit are those who live in the London area and who go to the theatre too. If not it's a complete waste of money and they are trying to use scare tactics.vinylmusic wrote: »I just received an email from ShowFilmsFirst inviting me to subscribe to their new priority system

If this continues I think that Posts about so called "Free tickets" that require a paid subscription should be moved to a different category since they are no longer free ticketsIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0

Has anyone had any success with this one? I keep trying but it doesn't seem to exist.

Starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels - see what is happening 20 years on...
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the long-demanded sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To.
Joined by the original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, they take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given.0
