If this continues I think that Posts about so called "Free tickets" that require a paid subscription should be moved to a different category since they are no longer free tickets

This discussion often comes up. Over the years, the vast majority of tickets are a reward or perk of a subscription of some sort. Even if that is just buying a newspaper or magazine. The tickets are free, you are paying for Sky, Virgin, The Times, The Telegraph etc or you have an account with a specific bank but the tickets are still free.

This is nothing new. SFF introduced this quite some time ago. The only people who could possibly benefit are those who live in the London area and who go to the theatre too. If not it's a complete waste of money and they are trying to use scare tactics.

Scare tactics? They are guaranteeing one pair of tickets (which for most would be around 18 pounds, if not more) or your money back.

I got the e-mail too and I don't think scare tactics is the right phrase.

They are not guaranteeing anything. Those cinema codes are issued to other partners too, they always have been. Many who fell for this deal when it first happened, found out that they didn't get any more tickets than before the VIP deal and got them for free in most cases anyway. As I said, if you live in London, you will get value for money if you go to the theatre but apart from that, they are trying to scare people into signing up. Hence the recent posts.

Starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels - see what is happening 20 years on...

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the long-demanded sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To.

Joined by the original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, they take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given.

For whatever reason The Sun appear to have removed all references to it on the perks rewards website  ...
... although it was still there yesterday evening.

I can't think that it won't happen just that they've changed the date of booking release.
Wonder if it is now part of their "Advent Calendar" :(

However, I've just checked and this one ...

That's one pair of tickets a year. Most people manage to get tickets to way more than one movie a year without paying for priority membership.

You know exactly where he got it from and as there was a trap, it can be proved.

Why won't you ever credit the people who actually find and post the codes Ben? You are the main reason the codes aren't posted on here because you annoy so many by taking the credit for finding them.
