Indeed....what on earth are you talking about???0 -
This is so rubbish. This film is one of the most anticipated films of the year and yet there are no more decent cinemas to choose. Get it right Sky as we already pay a fortune in your products.
Sorry ????!!!!
Whilst I would not claim that SKY are my favorite company, you pay for your satallite TV channels, sport, films, kids channels etc.
You pay for your phones and your broadband....whatever.
These screenings are classed as "Rewards" and I would describe them as "extras"..... they are little "treats" above and beyond the 'services' that you actually pay for.
So how can you rant that this time they have not thousands available at your local cinema?
Jeez, get over it.
And for what it's worth, I did not get any tickets - my cinema is not listed.
Nor have I got tickets to the Lucky One either (just not lucky this time I guess), and they have only just been released, but they were gone in a flash.
That is the way it goes.
There must be tens if not hundreds of thousands of people who pay sky every month for the movie channels (myself included by the way). Do you expect SKY to give every one of their film customers free cinema tickets every week ?
Better luck next time.... for me too !!0 -

Where was the option to vote Olliesgirl? I must have missed it.
I personally don't moan if I can't get free tickets in my area, I'm just glad for the ones I do get and if I miss out on something I really want to see, then I buy tickets when the film is released0 -
Genuinely surprised they're doing any screenings at all for Avengers. These screenings are a 'reward', not a part of your subscription, and are meant to get people talking about the movie, and recommending it to their friends. Avengers is probably the most anticipated movie for the next few months, and will receive no end of press, so they hardly need to generate public interest....
For those of you who decide to pay to see it, the best experience will be at your local Imax....0 -
The voting was arranged by Cineworld on theur Facebook. This has happened before. and happens for previews held in the United States too.
Vote for your city to have a film shown.
Then sky issued tickets to the towns that won along with competition winners that won through Cineworld.0 -
Thanks Olliesgirl,
I thought you meant Sky had sent out a poll that I had missed!
I must admit I don't look at the Cineworld site unless I am paying for a ticket , as Cineworld hasn't had a free preview near to me in over two years! The previews nearest to me have tended to be at Odeon, Vue or Showcase cinema's.
Perhaps I should look at the Cineworld site more often and watch out for the polls

Nope, I didn't. I'm glad now though. I hate reading subtitles at the cinema, means I have to bring my glasses :eek:0
