Sounds like some movie worth giving it a shot, however I am waiting for the release of Battleship on the 11th of April if my mind serves me well, probably not great story but all about special effects :D
  • We really enjoyed Headhunters too -- the cinema was pretty packed this time. That's presumably because it was a Guardian offer and went out to Highly Conscientious people. :)
Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.

Hi all. Just had to cancel 2 tickets for Cabin in the woods in Sheffield/cineworld tonight with SFF.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

Really enjoyed Cabin in the Woods - decent throwaway horror with an amazing last 15 mins.

However, I know i've said this before, but please do a little bit of research about films before you go and see them. 4 people in my row left after about 10 mins, because they "didn't like horror". Another girl was crying so much about half way through that her friend had to take her out.

I understand that people don't want to know the whole plot, but a little bit of knowledge about the genre is a good thing...

I was at Wandsworth Cineworld and a few people left there during the first half hour.

I am a confirmed wimp and didn't sleep very well last night :o

Email them and explain what happened, how you had a wasted journey and were very disappointed, they may offer to send you a pair of tickets as apology (They may not either but they have sent me a pair of tickets in the past when I emailed about not being able to get into a showing as it was full):)
