Virgin are no longer offering previews now.

I know they stopped some 3 or so months ago. Shame as I do believe they are great incentive.

Anyway thanks for answering all my stupid questions over the past couple of days.

Has anyone received the promised Odeon cinema tickets from The Scum?

If you haven't, there is a new thread on this board that you might like to post in. Hopefully, Martin Lewis and his team will look into this scam from the Scum.

  • Sorry to be a pain but I have gone back to sky and they have categorically told me they don't offer preview screenings.. Clearly liars or useless. Anyway could some one offer a dummy guide of where you would find the tickets.. I use the link skymovies.sky.c o m .. But it takes me to a home screen and I don't know where else to go.. It's not been advertised on the home page because I have religiously been checking.. Some guidance for I case any go back for grabs would be amazing. Thanks in advance x

I posted these instructions on this very page.
Click on "Find and Watch TV" it gives you a drop down box. Under Sky Channels, it has Sky Movies. Click on that.

When there are tickets available for previews, it is on that page.

    Does that help?

The direct link is on post #2 on Codes Only.

I've seen a few places saying this about Virgin movies screenings - but I went to one less than a month ago! I had the website bookmarked and checked it every couple of weeks or so, it was only this morning that I've seen the message saying they're stopping. I wonder if I had an old link bookmarked so they were still doing the screenings until recently but just stopped making it obvious a while back? Or did I dream going altogether?!

Bit rubbish either way as none of their other supposed incentives apply to me as I'm 'only' a Mobile customer, so apparently I'm not worth giving any rewards now. Might be a good time to look around and see what other contracts are about.

The last Virgin preview screenings were in December - Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. Both Sky and Virgin stopped at the same time and neither made it obvious until people started asking.

Sky started again when they issued tickets for Captain America 2 and now Spider Man 2.

That message by Virgin was only recently posted.

Bad form by both companies in my opinion.

I have a Virgin PAYG phone...... which I only kept because of the free screenings.
I will not be continuing with it.
If companies realise that "incentives" attract and retain customers.
They must realise that ending the incentives may well result in losing existing customers, and failing to attract new one.

Today was a great day for movie tickets. Lot's of codes got released.

Can someone please cancel the ticket for "Wandsworth, Cineworld" if he's not going today? Want to bring a friend. :) - We'd also go to the Ritzy in Brixton.

Anyone looking for 2 tickets to see Locke at Cineworld, Crawley at 6.30pm - I have just cancelled. Only just arrived home after an afternoon at the hospital, so not able to get there in time.

Saw Locke last night (thanks to Mee for the code)
    Really, really enjoyed it.
Reviews were excellent - and well deserved.

Anyone know why Code thread has been moved to "Gone but not forgotten" ?

Anyone know how to find the Sky cinema booking page to access your ticket if you've lost your confirmation email :(
