Ive just cancelled a ticket for only lovers left . Cineworld Yeovil, for tomorrow 28/1/14 18.30pm Hope this is the right place to let people know, in case they are looking for one?

    You missed a cracking film.

An everyday tale of a sexy vampire, his music, his sexy instruments and the people in his life. What's not to love? Casting throughout was perfect and I loved the dry humour too.

I had tickets for Cuban Fury and Only lovers left alive and went to see Cuban Fury. My friend saw the other and her and her sister actually walked out and they are avid vampire movie followers. They weren't the only ones in Cardiff to walk out either. Was it really that terrible? I enjoyed Cuban Fury and it even showed a clip of one of my favourite dance movies and the beginning :)

Only Lovers Left Alive is far from a terrible film but it is a divisive one. No gore and very little blood. It is a slow paced film that looks at love, life, death and relationships and is very witty. No sparkly vampires in this film.

It was very much an indie film, and many people aren't happy with a movie unless Vin Diesel is driving a car off Optimus Prime's head into a sky scraper explosion with Bruce Willis hanging on for dear life. People walked out at Bolton too, but I thought it was a very well acted film with a great cast. I mean how do you go wrong with John Hurt, Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston? Yes the script could have done with a bit of tweaking but it didn't deserve to be walked out of.

Only Lovers Left Alive has indeed gotten mixed reviews but from many who seem to have expected a horror kind of vampire film whereas this is more about relationships.
  • Making sure everything's going to be OK on Monday for Cuban Thingy I looked through Heat magazine at the local shop last night, but couldn't find anything in it to advertise the freebie. Does anyone have the page number for me to check the small print - I know at the last Heat freeview I was the only one with the page out the magazine but from looking last night nobody will have it...

And yes, I did wash my hands afterwards.

I've just cancelled a ticket for Cuban Fury at Panton Street Odeon, London if anyone can get in quick (not sure which code I used though).

To all the little smart aleks deliberately posting chat on the Codes Only thread, I have reported you all and marked your posts as spam.

This is where you should be chatting/moaning/discussing and there is a Thanks button, so it isn't necessary to actually deliberately post saying Thank you either.

I hope you included your FMUK chum when you reported people. Yet another useless post by them
