    Thanks.

So is there real value in posting "invited guests only" codes in the codes only thread when anyone who has an invite will have been made aware direct from SFF?

Like all things that SFF send out, the emails are sent in batches and some who are on the list will see the codes on forums before they actually receive their own email.

It's annoying for those not on the list but always best to try the code just on the off chance you can get a ticket.

When it is "invited guests only", do those who are invited all receive timely emails to alert them to the invitation?

And to answer your hidden question, yes they still need posting on the codes only board - otherwise we'd go back down the route of discussing whether we need a separate board for each subs only listing (Times+, Sun+ etc), which always ends up as a No

Hence my use of the phrase "timely emails" in my original question.

    Thanks again.

It's not always down to timing though. Some don't have access to their email when they are at work for example but might be able to browse sites.

Thanks to Geordie for posting the code on the other thread today....
But REALLY annoying as I received no email notification from MSE...
So I have only just found his post because I had time to sit and browse.
Now all the tickets to my cinema has gone - Boo Hoo !

I don't check in on the Cinema tickets so much recently as there hardly seem any about since SKY pulled the plug. I rely on the email notification.
I don't know, a month or so ago I was getting about a dozen notifications a day.... but when I went to the code thread there was nothing new there (presumably deleted!)
Now there are new codes/postings, yet no email.
I was still registered, so have unregistered and re-registered.
    Fingers crossed that works.

Do check back, tickets get returned and become available again :)

I don't know what it is with registration alerts, sometimes I get 1 sometimes I get 13 for the same post, yes I did get 13 once! I too have deleted it and then signed up again, hopefully that will fix it.

That should work, make sure you're logged when when you click the link on the email (tick the remember me box)

Have you gone thru and checked all the codes? Which film and cinema you after?
  • Loved Dallas Buyers Club funny with hearty moments.
Matthew McConaughey was brilliant. In one interview he revealed he actually went on a diet to look his character. Must watch film

DBC - WOW! what an epic movie

I didn't realise it was a true story (i never read up on them before hand)

MM sure did lose some weight for his role - played it brilliantly tho

    10/10 for me
