Chasing Ice was released last year.

It's a great film though! I saw it earlier this year on blu-ray, really opens your eyes to the global warming crisis even more than I already knew. Seeing it for real is terrifying.

Got tickets for Gravity today...anyone know if it's in 3D or not? Bit of a shame if it isn't.

Chasing Ice is even more impressive on the big screen as you get to see the scale of everything.

Gravity will be shown in 3D.

Sky screenings were in 3D. I believe the SFF ones tonight are in 2D. I'm not completely sold on 3D but this is a film that really uses it well.

I know the Metro Code is 3D so I'd imagine the SFF ones are too

There is no reason to believe the screeings tonight will be in 2D. When a film has a 3D option, that is the format released for previews. As I have already seen an advance screening in 3D, I very much doubt that the distributors have gone to the expense of releasing 2D versions just for tonight. Film companies want audiences to see the film in 3Dwhich is why they preview in 3D.

Metro screenings are issued via SFF. There are no other screenings tonight.

I didn't see mention of 3D but by this time I had already got my sky tickets. Anyway hope it is in 3D for those going tonight.

  • You could also have just looked it up in the E copy of The Metro available to all online?

    http://e-edition.metro.co.uk/2013/10/24/ page 35

If you look at the advert for Gravity tickets in the online coipy of The Metro it says IMAX 3D:)
