Yes - Showfilmfirst - Code 440207 - I got some but I'm worried about the note that says you have to take the page from Heat - has anyone been to a Heat preview before? Do they enforce this?

I think this has been discussed a few times and the summary is it depends on the cinema. It's upto you if you wanna chance it but I'm gonna get a copy of the magazine - if I can't get one then in not going all the way there on the chance I'm refused entry

As above, each cinema is different. I've never been asked in the cinemas around Newcastle. Reply with which cinema you're going to and someone else on the board might know if they normally ask or not

I'm in the same situation - I have tickets for Rush, for Trafford Centre Odeon. Does anyone know if they ask for the magazine page, please?
  • I've just returned 2 tickets for About Time in Swansea tonight. Ticket holder is ill so hopefully it could be of use to someone. Sorry it's last minute.

    Thank you :)
None near me atm, but this might change, is it the most recent Heat? There should be plenty around :)

About Time - not too bad. Some great laughs and quite thought provoking. Reminded me of the Butterfly Effect

Slight spoiler alert... His dad say's the can only go back, not forward in time. If they go back to something in the past, then the only way to come back to the 'present' is to go forward... FAIL

Also, when he relives the day towards the end, the first time, the sandwich and drink is £4.31, 2nd time round it's £6.31

What a load of bulls!!! The whole cinema was in stitches, awful acting, too predictable!!!
At least we found it entertaining!

    Yes, it was funny.

In my eyes it begins with someone making the effort to use the apostrophe correctly after the bloody murder.
  • It isn't really going forward in time though is it? They're returning to a fixed point in time. In effect they open a wormhole to go back in time and then close the hole to go ... Back to the Future! *puts on shades*

Seems legit in time travel logic anyway.

I went to see The Way Way Back at Cineworld West India Quay on Tuesday but they tried to refuse me (and several other people) entry as I hadn't printed my ticket. The email with the ticket specifically said you can show it on your smartphone, but the manager said he had been told to only let people in who had printed their tickets. He refused to budge even when I showed him the email I'd received, but eventually said that if there were any spare seats once everyone with printed tickets had gone in we could go in. There was room in the end, but it was quite bad customer service to do that. So print your tickets people, even if it says you don't have to!

I'd recommend the film though, it was a nice coming of age movie.

Who was the ticket with - Metro? That's rather poor if it specifically said on the ticket you could show it on your phone. Probably worth complaining to whoever issued the ticket to make them aware of the problem at that cinema.
