I agree that it wasn't really the cinemas fault but it was poorly handled, somewhere there has been a lack of communication. If we had been turned away because it was full then I would have fully accepted that, but this wasn't the case.

I hope you completed the survey and have mentioned the fact that the Manager wouldn't come and deal with the matter?

I did complete the survey and put in the comments the reason why I didn't get to see the film, there was no manager in the cinema, apparently ...

THE FROZEN GROUND is the incredible and chilling true story of the hunt for Robert C. Hansen, one of America's most notorious serial killers who brutally murdered 17 young women over the course of 12 years in the town of Anchorage, Alaska. When teenage prostitute Cindy Paulson (Vanessa Hudgens - Sucker Punch) is found by police officers - beaten and pleading for her life - in an Alaskan motel room, everyone is quick to dismiss her version of events. However, US state trooper Sgt. Jack Halcombe (Nicolas Cage – Bad Lieutenant), soon comes to believe that Cindy is the only surviving victim of a local serial killer, responsible for a series of murders of young women in the past decade. Lacking the support of his department, Halcombe must find Cindy, gain her trust and form an unlikely partnership in order to track down the man who still wants to kill her. John Cusack’s (2012) portrayal of cold killer Robert C. Hansen is his most chilling performance yet, bringing the horrific true story alive to audiences. THE FROZEN GROUND is directed by Scott Walker and also stars global hip-hop legend Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

For pete's sake, give it a rest! Regardless of how it was found, it's posted on here for people who aren't members of the other 2 sites! Sometimes tickets are available at the time of posting sometimes they're not but since people do have the option to cancel then its quite helpful knowing about it. Every time one of these arguments start, you spam people's inboxes who are subscribed to the thread....and now I'm adding to it (sorry peeps!) I'm just grateful that the codes are posted at all

The point is that it is only courtesy to thank or credit the person who took the time to find the code and share it in the first place.

    Dear Steve & Quoia

Whilst I appreciate the valuable contributions that you have both made in the past, I fail to see why you are both persisting in bickering about who is right and who is wrong - surely it is obvious that you are never going to agree?

Time to be grown up about things - you each have your opinion and if one of you cant take a deep breath and forego having the last word - you could still be frustrating the heck out of each other until Christmas.

I dont know who is right or who is wrong and if I am brutally honest I dont really care - I would just like to see this forum being used for something constructive instead of a sounding board for people to air their frustration.

We all human - we all make mistakes and no-one is right 100% of the time.

Sorry about going into mother mode here but really boys - just let it go.

    Thanks

Well aren't we all a cheery bunch!

Just to follow debiie and add my own thoughts:

    1. Thank you to everyone for posting codes - none of us have any divine rights to free film screenings so its always nice to have them.

    2. I don't personally see the need to thank whoever was the first person to ever post a particular code...are they checking every site it may be re-posted so they can pat themselves on the back? If we're going to thank anyone surely it should be the screening sponsors e.g. Sky, Total Film, Heat etc. On the other hand if someone has copy and pasted from elsewhere it never hurts to say thank you out of general courtesy.

    3. I get the impression that some people are posting codes just for some weird sort of kudos and so they can get more stars or badges next to their name...surely its just about being helpful to other people when new codes/screenings are found and does it really matter who finds it first?

Anyway, lets hope there's lots more screenings to come soon and thanks again
