If they were feeling generous, they might have let you in!
Perhaps they might if you showed them your ticket on your phone and explained the situation?
Depends how busy it is I suppose and how polite you are!
Only use PC for e-mail - not really technology savvy so had the internet turned off my phone as I kept using up my data package without realising I was accessing sites in the first place lol.
Maybe if it happens again, I will follow your advice and at least ask - got nothing to lose - just wondered if anyone had actually been successful themselves.:o0 -

There where tickets release for Odeon Sunday screens by showfilmfirst that did not require a newspaper.0 -
Does anyone know the logistics of the (utterly pointless) 'Live CCTV Red Carpet Footage' for Iron Man 3?
I'm a little confused as the premiere in London was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but yesterday was pushed back to Thursday due to Thatchers funeral. Yet the original booking confirmation mentions the Live Red Carpet footage? Which surely wouldn't have been possible before as that was on the Wednesday? Did Sky preempt Thatchers death and funeral plans?
I don't want to go to watch a load of celebs wave on CCTV for an hour, I want to see Iron Man 3! It'll mean i'll be sat in the cinema for over 3 hours. Tempted to just turn up for 7 and hope for a seat.0 -

The date of the Premiere was changed by Disney last week, not yesterday and as such the screening of the film in all locations has changed in accordance.
Sky did not preempt anything, Thatcher's funeral has changed things.
As for the Red Carpet footage, it will show people like RDJ being interviewed as they arrive etc as these things always do.0 -

Do these ones usually fill up for the red carpet footage by the way?0 -
Ah cheers for clearing that up. Just figured it was only rescheduled yesterday because of the BBC article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-22143674

The film will be the reason it is a full house not the Red Carpet Footage which can be a little tiresome if I'm honest. Especially if you happen to be at a cinema with soundless footage as can happen.
But if you are thinking of arriving late to miss the footage, then remember it is still first come, first served and no guarantee of entry. Plus the later you arrive, the less choice you have in your seating. This is a 3D film, I wouldn't want to be sat on the front row.0 -
You could always move house .......

Don't fancy moving, but I might seriously start thinking about downgrading my Sky package as this was a major perk and helped justify for me having Sky:)"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138
