  • Am I the only person to be frustrated by the lack of screenings in Bristol?

Odeon screenings - the Bristol Odeon for some reason is NEVER listed....

Vue Screenings - the one nearest me is Longwell Green which I I have NEVER seen listed. Cribbs Causeways is listed sometimes, but not always, but is always unavailable when I try for tickets, and is still 50 mins drive away for me.

Picturehouse screenings- there is one in Bath, but this is 40-50 mins drive plus parking hassle for me.

Showcase screenings - Showcase in Brislington NEVER listed, Cinema de Lux is sometimes, but mostly on Sky Rewards and I don't have Sky

Virgin Media screenings - I AM a Virgin Customer so I can get these, but it seems that 8/10 films are not shown in a cinema anywhere near Bristol. :(

The only times I seem to manage tickets these days are for the ones at Cineworld cinemas, but those seem to be reducing in number...

I think that it's a general issue with the SW/West Country. I am in Exeter. Think that Sky has decided we are not worth it (Plymouth excepted). The only tickets I have got recently were through the Stella Artois comp on Facebook.

Does anyone know how I can return tickets for ShowFilmFirst?

My partner couldn't make it to the showing, and I'd like to return the tickets so someone else could go to the show instead :)

There's an option on their site for cancelling. It's not letting me not in at the moment to find exactly where.

If you check your ticket confirmation email, there's a link at the bottom that says: "If you can't go, please cancel your ticket by clicking here"

    ............

Searching the EXPIRED Free Cinema Tickets thread does find the word BRISTOL in 255 posts out of the 3,948 that currently exist ...

    that's 1 in every 15

... so not exactly hen's teeth, rocking horse droppings or Blue Moon rarity

and a distant relative in law that lives in Bristol always seems to be going to free screenings nowadays from chats when our paths cross about films he's seen, once I told him about MSE and SFF etc that it :D

Today's tickets, a teenage girl dying wanting to have sex and one about an old couple close to death who've stopped having sex. I'll pass on these.
