To be fair, you posted details of something coming up in a newspaper that didn't contain any codes etc.

Do we really need advance details of films posting in the codes only thread?

This generates at least two alerts. If anything they should be posted in this thread and then details on codes only once they go live, surely?

Is that directed at me? I don't know what advance details you're talking about. This thread is for "chat", right?. I made a comment about "free tickets" that are on offer.

I think you've answered your own question.

People often post in Codes Only saying that a film is coming up, that then generates another one or two posts saying the film is now live.

You haven't done that, so no it isn't aimed at you

The newspaper DID contain the code !!!!



















Oh you mean the POST didn't have a code in it ..... :rotfl:

BUT it did allow MSE'ers to get the code absolutely as soon as possible first by buying a copy :eek: (reading it in the newsagents) hopefully before certain other websites got in in the act ....

AND ......

as soon as I knew the code myself, I updated the post and PUT THE CODE in it ....
