i returned 3 items out the 5, but i called burton today and they have refunded fullpostage
The OP would have been entitled to a refund. Direct.gov told me last week that there is case law which shows each item ordered forms its own contract even if the retailer chooses to take one payment and send in one envelope so they should refund full postage0 -
Any link to this "case law" - it would prove a worthy addition to the FAQs.
I have never heard that buying multiple products constitutes multiple contracts (aside from on your thread) so would be interesting in understanding where this notion comes from.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
It's a debate that often comes up, and we're yet to have an answer. I don't believe that one is entitled to order 12 massive items and 1 teeny item, then return the teeny item and get ALL postage refundedOne important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0
